The Vice-Chairman & Managing Director of AP Girijan Cooperative Corporation - GCC , G.Suresh Kumar IIS, visited the Girijana Van Dhan Vikasa Kendras (VDVKs) located in Dibbaguda of Seethampeta Mandal and Vanathalli VDVK at Jakkaraguda in Bhamini Mandal within the Parvathipuram Manyam District. GCC Managers, along with the APD (Area Project Director), APMs (Area Project Managers), and Velugu CC members, were also part of this visit. During the visit, G.Suresh Kumar engaged in discussions with tribal villagers who belong to Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs), addressing their ongoing activities. He also provided guidance on how to obtain fair prices for their processed forest produce. He urged them to refrain from selling their forest resources to intermediaries and instead encouraged them to make use of the services offered by the VDVKs present in each village.
